Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated September 4, 2026.
This policy explains how Professionals Electric LLC (“Professionals Electric,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected through professionalselectric.com. It applies to this website and its service-request form. It does not replace privacy terms in a separate written customer agreement.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you contact us or request service, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, job address, service type, property type, preferred contact time, project details, urgency, access or scheduling information, and project photos you choose to attach. Please do not submit financial account numbers, government identification numbers, medical information, passwords, or other information that is not needed to evaluate an electrical project.
Information processed automatically
Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser and device type, requested page, request time, and security or error logs. We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous, aggregated page-use information without advertising cookies. The website also records the type of certain interactions—such as call, text, email, estimate, and successful-form actions—together with the page path and time. These conversion records do not include the content of your message, your name, contact information, or job address. Local interaction counts may also remain in your browser’s local storage.
How we use information
- Review, respond to, schedule, and coordinate service requests.
- Communicate about requested or ongoing electrical work.
- Maintain project, customer-service, safety, and business records.
- Operate, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the website and form.
- Comply with law and protect our rights, customers, personnel, and systems.
How information is disclosed
We may disclose information to personnel and service providers that need it for the purposes above. The website uses Vercel for hosting, form processing, security, and private file storage, and Resend to deliver service-request notifications and customer confirmations by email. Authorized company personnel can review stored requests in a password-protected lead dashboard. Google may receive standard technical information when an embedded Google Map loads or when you open a Google Maps link. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices.
We may also disclose information when required by law; to prevent fraud, abuse, or harm; to establish or defend legal claims; or in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and this website does not serve targeted advertising.
Project photos
Photos submitted through the request form are stored privately and are not automatically added to the public gallery. Private photo links are created for the Professionals Electric team. Do not upload images you are not authorized to share, or images containing unrelated people, documents, access credentials, financial information, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Retention and security
We retain service requests, photos, and communications only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including scheduling, project records, warranty or dispute handling, security, tax, insurance, and other legal obligations. Retention varies with the status and nature of the request. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including private storage for submitted photos, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Anonymous conversion records contain only the event type, page path, and time. Access to the private lead dashboard is restricted by a secret stored in the hosting environment and is not intended for public use.
Your choices and requests
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted by emailing shawn@professionalselectric.com or calling 657-774-5017. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information when reasonably necessary to complete a transaction, maintain legitimate business records, protect safety or security, resolve disputes, or comply with law. If an applicable privacy law gives you additional rights, we will process eligible requests as that law requires.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Because this website does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use cross-site behavioral advertising, these signals do not change the website’s current practices. Third-party services such as an embedded map may collect information under their own policies.
Children
This website is intended for people seeking electrical services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request its deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
